# Profile & Preferences

> Manage your name, password, summary language, and email notifications.

Your profile settings control your identity in Fano Summary and how summaries are generated for you.

## Accessing your profile

1. Click your **profile avatar** in the top-right corner.
2. Select **Setting**.
3. You'll land on the **Profile & Preferences** tab.

## Profile

| Field         | Description                            | Editable?                   |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Full Name** | Your display name in the app           | Yes                         |
| **Email**     | The email address tied to your account | No (locked)                 |
| **Password**  | Your account password                  | Yes (via "Change Password") |

To change your password, click **Change Password** and follow the prompts.

  Your email address is set by your company admin when creating your account. If you need to change it, contact your admin.

## Preferences

### Summary Language

Choose the language for your AI-generated meeting summaries. This affects all future summaries and any summaries you regenerate by switching templates.

Options include English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and more.

  The summary language is independent of the transcript language. Your transcript reflects what was actually spoken, while the summary is generated in your chosen language.

### Email Recap Notification

When turned **on**, you'll receive an email with the AI meeting summary as soon as a meeting ends. This is useful for catching up on meetings you missed or quickly reviewing key points from your inbox.

Toggle this on or off based on your preference. It's enabled by default.
