What Fano Summary does

Records your meetings. Fano joins your video calls as a note-taker bot, visible to all participants. It captures the full audio so nothing gets missed. Transcribes with speaker labels. Every meeting gets a timestamped transcript with speakers identified, so you can see exactly who said what. Summarizes intelligently. AI generates a structured summary — decisions, action items, key discussion points — organized by the template that fits your meeting type, including templates you build yourself. Sends you a recap. After the meeting ends, you’ll receive an email recap with the summary, so you can catch up even if you missed the call.

How it works

  1. Connect your calendar — Link your Microsoft Outlook calendar so Fano can see your schedule.
  2. Fano joins automatically — When a meeting starts, the Fano bot joins the call and begins recording.
  3. Review your notes — After the meeting, open Fano Summary to view your summary, transcript, and audio.
That’s it. No manual setup before each meeting, no forgetting to hit record.

The summary isn’t the end of the process:
  • Edit it — type directly into the summary to fix a name or tighten an action item
  • Change its language — English, Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese, per meeting
  • Export it — Word, PDF or Markdown for people without an account

  • Search and tag — find any past discussion and group meetings by client or project
