The AI summary is a starting point, not a locked document. You can edit it directly — fix a misheard name, sharpen an action item, or reorganize a section before you share it.

Edit a summary

  1. Open the meeting and go to the Summary tab.
  2. Click into the summary and start typing.
Changes save on their own. There’s no Save button.

Formatting

Select any text and a formatting toolbar appears with:
  • Text — a dropdown for heading levels
  • Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
  • Bulleted lists and numbered lists
Markdown shortcuts also work as you type — # for a heading, - for a bullet.

What stays intact when you edit

Before you edit

Summaries don’t keep a version history. Once you edit, the original AI draft can’t be restored. If you want to keep the untouched version, export it first.
Switching to a different template regenerates the summary from the transcript, so treat a regeneration the same way — export first if the edited version matters.
Editing the summary is the fastest fix for a one-off wording problem. If the same term is transcribed wrongly across many meetings — a product name, a client name, internal jargon — that’s a vocabulary problem, not an editing problem. Raise it with your admin rather than fixing it by hand every week.
