Every recorded meeting keeps its full audio, and the summary and transcript are both linked to it. You never have to scrub through an hour of recording to check one sentence.

Jump from the summary to the recording

Points in the summary are linked to the exact position in the recording they came from.
  1. Open the meeting’s Summary tab.
  2. Click a timestamp on a summary point.
  3. Playback jumps to that moment so you can hear the full context.
This is how you verify a summary before acting on it — especially a decision, a number, or a commitment attributed to someone.
Before you forward a summary to a client or your manager, click through the two or three points that carry the most weight. Thirty seconds of listening is cheaper than correcting the record later.

Jump from the transcript

Click any transcript segment and the player jumps to that timestamp. Use the transcript as a table of contents for the audio: find the topic, click it, listen.

Using the player

The audio player sits at the bottom of the meeting detail page:
  • Play/Pause — start or stop playback
  • Progress bar — scrub to any point in the recording
  • Timestamp — current position and total duration
  • Volume control — adjust playback volume

Timestamps survive your edits

Timestamp links keep working after you edit the summary, so you can correct wording without losing the link back to the audio.

Availability

Audio and timestamps are available for all meetings — whether captured by the auto-join bot, Record Now, Send Notetaker Now, or a file upload.
